hello! My name is Johnny and I reside on the ancestral lands of the Cheyenne, Arapaho, and Ute peoples, currently known as Denver, CO. I am a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes and from Washington.
I started beading in 2020 and haven't put my beads and thread down since! All my jewelry and sewing work is handmade and therefore #NativeMade #IndigenousMade. I work with beads, shells, porcupine quills, deer hide, antlers, rabbit fur, rawhide, ribbons, Native print fabric, and the occasional paints. I am also an avid pin button maker. I am always eager to learn more forms of art and I hope to learn how to work with pine needles, caribou fur, and resin next.
When I'm not working on my art, I am hanging with my pups Atzi (chihuahua/terrier), Chata (sharpei/boxer), and my lovely partner of 4 years <3
